Two English professors were recently awarded VITAL (Villanova Institute for Teaching and Learning) 2013 Minigrants. The purpose of the VITAL Minigrant Program is to provide support for faculty members who develop projects designed to enhance teaching and learning at Villanova.
Prof. Gail Ciociola (with Prof. Heidi Rose from the Communication department) was awarded a grant for her project entitled "Toward InterAct-ive Pedagogy through Performance and Discourse."
Prof. Joseph Lennon was awarded a grant for an "Abbey Theatre Embedded Course" project.
