Lunch and Learn

If you are interested in pursuing graduate studies, see the flyer below for a March 17th “Lunch and Learn” event for Villanova undergraduates at which you can learn about Villanova’s graduate programs—including our own well-regarded English program.  There is still time to apply to many graduate programs, including English, for Fall 2016.

GWS Faculty Research Seminar

This semester’s Gender and Women’s Studies Faculty Research Seminar will take place next Wednesday, March 16, at noon in Falvey 205.  English department professor Crystal Lucky will be giving a talk entitled “The Power of Mystery in the Autobiography of Charlotte Riley.”  A light lunch will be served.

American Association for Cancer Research Internship Opportunity

The American Association for Cancer Research Foundation Special Events Team is looking for an intern from March 2016 through October 2016, and we have been told that they “are looking for a strong writer, and someone who is well organized and adaptable to various projects.”  Those projects include their runDisney programs, the AACR Rock ‘n’ Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon, and a new AACR spin series, Spintensity 200.

The listing of the internship isn’t on Handshake yet, but should be up shortly.
